A spotless Volvo 340 (or 345) in Ballyconnel, Co.Cavan yesterday, 88-CN Reg, it's so clean it MUST be an import. Sorry about the poor photo.

A very straight Transporter Diesel in Cavan town today.

Is that a van or a car? Hard to tell if it has back windows

Definitely a van. Look behind the passenger seat,no window,if you zoom in behind the driver side you can make out it is metal and not glass.

Surely a 1.0 diesel is an error? Especially for the time of manufacture.

tidy and un-molested looking 3 door Civic, nice to see one that hasn't been skangerised

It was a 3 cyl 1 litre straight engine most likely... did we get the turbo D here?

Yep 1.0 3 cylinder diesel great revy little engine and the light body actually makes them a decent drive.

I think nekarsulm posted a td example before but could be mistaken.

Few of them on the go round these parts aswell but td ones are thin on the ground. My aul fella had an n/a diesel van years ago was some little trooper! achievable mpg was ridiculous if driven handy.

An old neighbour of mine had one of these until he died in 1995. His wife subsequently scrapped it. the above picture is the first time I've seen one since. they were great with the rear mounted engine.
