Hey guys so last night I somehow managed to rip the wires on my basic alba headphones.. I opened up the wiring and the volume switch/turny thing in the middle and had a look at the damage .. There was 3 wires .. A blue , a red and a copper .. The Red and Copper wires have stayed onto the little solder on the actual volume rocker board/chip whatever you call it but the blue wire had disconnected from the solder .. I dont have any soldering iron and I already tried heating up a screwdriver etc etc .. I was thinking .. at the other end of the volume rocker there is also a blue , red and copper wires soldered to the board .. I could I not take out the volume rocker altogether and just connect the wires? Would it work then ? Any help/tips are appreciated
