Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Right at this moment it has to be Ramsey!!

    Yep, have to say Ramsey

I don't think early season form has stopped this from being an RVP vs Suarez debate

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,748 ✭✭✭✭AdamD

Between Suarez, Ozil and RVP for me. All pretty different players so hard to pick one.

at this moment - in terms of form since the season began, its Ramsey.

    he's simply on fire.

Ramsay at the moment. Really has kicked on and looks to be fulfilling the potential he showed as a teenager.

    1.ramsey 2. Sturridge 3. Ozil

Ozil has just walked right into the Arsenal team and become a star not just in there team but in the league.

Hes exactly what United could of done with. If things continue as they are hes the man who could also win Arsenal the league this season.

    Right now? Ramsey.

I couldn't pick between Ozil and Suarez though.

  • Registered Users Posts: 609 ✭✭✭Left Back on the Bench

ramsey gets my vote. scoring goals, makin goals, defending, making tackles.to think arsenal fans wanted rid of him. his form might decline or because he's so young it might be the making of him.arsenal look like arsenal of old and im a spurs fan

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,574 ✭✭✭✭CSF

Lads, the poll clearly didn't mean who has recently hit the best form, and there is no way Ramsey is even close to the best player in the Premiership. Not even in the top 3 players at Arsenal.

Whoever Sky are hyping this week.

Suarez has been consistently brilliant for a long time now, so Suarez.

Ozil or RVP. Ozil for me.

Ramsey has been phenomenal so far this year though. Grabbed me some 3/1 on him for YPOTY, free money.

Id just about agree with you, an RVP hattrick next week and I'd change my mind though, that is just how fine the margins are better them.

Ozil would be in my top ten in the world for me so he's my pick.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,458 ✭✭✭✭gandalf

Ramsey is definitely the in form player at the moment. Goals, Assists and Tackles he is turning into a very formidable midfielder which is wonderful given the injury he suffered (plus its great from an Arsenal pov as well!!).

Ozil easily, first world class player to join the Premiership in years.

    Suarez isn't world class?

On overall play suarez is the outstanding player. He is an incredibly entertaining player to watch.

Ozil looks to be a fantastic player also. Between those 2 for me. Followed by rvp and Sturridge.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 831 ✭✭✭daingeanrob

suarez, always gives 100% on the pitch and is world class

    1. Ozil 2. Suarez 3. Silva

When even the United fans aren't voting Van Persie, you know things are bad at United

Not when he came to the PL he wasn't. It's been a long time since one of the worlds best in their prime came to the league

I picked Ozil. Was watchin Spurs for a bit earlier, I see Paulinho didn't make your list, he's not better than Ozil, Van Persie, Suarez, Aguerro, but after that he'd be up there. Probably needs to be a bit more clinical with goal chances.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,574 ✭✭✭✭CSF

    lol.

    Well they're not...

In a form is temporary, class is permanent kind of way, Ozil, all day long. Followed by Suarez, RVP and Silva in no particular order.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,887 ✭✭✭✭klose

Right now? I voted for ramsey, ozil and sturridge not far off. As for david luiz being on the list lolololol

5 in with a shout for me - Ozil, Mata, RVP, Suarez and Yaya Toure.

    I went with Ozil.

What on earth possessed you to include Theo Walcott on that poll?!

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

    It's ERIKSEN!!!

To answer the question, Ramsey for me, edges Ozil and Sturridge.

Wished Ramsey was playing like this when I picked him from the very beginning for FF last season! :pac: Genuinely expected to make him name a year ago honestly. Chuffed for him he's silencing the critics, though still needs to maintain this over the course of a season more or less. I remember Nasri being unstoppable for a few months a few seasons back before cooling off.

On Sturridge, you have to remember he's played most of this season not at full fitness according to himself too which makes his numbers further impressive.

Özil . He'd improve any team in world football imo .

Add in Aguero and I'd agree!

Ozil has been a super addition to Arsenal, I don't think it's a complete coincidence that players like Wilshere & Ramsey are starting to fulfill their potential this season as well. He just seems to elevate everything around him, while producing the goods himself. Has had no problem adjusting to the English game, which is an excuse I'm sure was ready'd just in case.
If Fellaini's 28m is a fair price, then Ozil is an absolute bargain at 42m.

In terms of overall ability Ozil and Suarez would be the best imo with VanPersie not far behind.

In terms of current form it has to be Ramsay. Sturridge has been fantastic too, scoring goals for fun but hasn't been as good as Ramsay in overall play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,406 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

Ramsey is enjoying a once in a lifetime run of form. The truth lies in between it and his injury disrupted stuttering of previous seasons.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,829 ✭✭✭✭Panthro

I think Oscar should be well up there.

  • Moderators, Regional East Moderators Posts: 23,231 Mod ✭✭✭✭GLaDOS

Ozil for me, just love the way he plays. Still can't believe Arsenal signed him! He's proven over several seasons that he's world class, which is why I wouldn't pick Ramsey.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

I wouldn't pick Ramsey because he is not the best player in the Premiership.

Whoever Sky are hyping this week.

Highlighting the best players in the league is hardly "hyping". Maybe they should give all the players equal coverage how nobody feels left out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,911 ✭✭✭bradlente

    Sergio Aguerroh!

Think he'll do for City this year what RVP did for Utd last.Already half as many goals as last year in less than a quarter of as many games.
