Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

iCloud & iPhone - how do they sync?

I just started to use iCloud (phone is a 4S); I added some reminders about 15 minutes ago on the iCloud web site, but notice that they still haven't synced on the iPHone. Anyone know how often this is done, does it happen only via wifi or via 3G as well?

Are you sure you have iCloud enabled on your phone?

    It works over 3g.

Yup - just checked and under Settings->iCloud, I have Contacts, Calendars, Reminders and Notes all turned on.

Are reminders created on the phone syncing with the website?

I just checked out and it _has_ finally synced. So I guess it does work over 3G anyway. Am just curious how often it polls.

The phone doesn’t poll the server. The server pushes to the phone. It should be almost instant but you can experience delays.

And they might alter the frequency of pushes to save device battery life, based on importance
