Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Cork City will be facing Leicester City in the Europa League on Monday. The other two teams in the group are Crystal Palace, and Werder Bremen.

    We should really be aiming to top this group...so watch as we finish rock bottom!

    Cork City beat Crystal Palace 3 - 0 in their SMFA Shield Group C fixture.
    Pirlo scored a brace and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.
    Rabiot was also on the scoresheet for his side.

    Go on Rabiot! You were only in the team due to Kovacevic's injury! :D


    Also, with the departure of Ajú Madger Badger to Liverpool, I've now cut my squad to 34 players, inluding the 12 players out on loan, meaning I only have 22 players available to me at the moment. I like having a small squad. :)

    A few new arrivals at the Cross.
    Free Agent Aleksandar MITROVIĆ has completed his move to Cork City for 5,250,000

    He was a free agent and I like him so why not!
    Santi MINA has completed his move to Cork City from Valencia CF for 7,000,000
    Cédric BAKAMBU has completed his move to Cork City from Villarreal CF for 5,000,000

    Rated 86 and 85 respectively, surely these huys are nailed on for a ratings increase (even after allowing for Valencia's ineptness in Mina's case!).


    I needed another back up up front as I may have to move to a formation which includes two forwards. Tevez just isn't doing it while he's up there on his own.

    I've only logged on now for the first time in about two days, and even at that, it's purely just to check my results (We beat Sevilla 4-1 in Seville btw) so I'll have a closer look tomorrow. :)

    It's heartbreaking to see the great man Andrea Pirlo leave the Cross, but he does so as our top scorer. He's had two great seasons with us but all good things must come to an end. At 36, he was worried that people were starting to look upon him as some sort of pedophile amongst all the young lads in our squad.


    The eldest in our squad is now 25, down from 36.

    I dont think it would be right for the Gw for me to have Lewandowski, Suarez AND Higuain when at most i'll play2 FCs
