Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    It's not a laptop, it's a Chromebook.

Small display, poor processor, limmited selection of software (none of the Windows stuff you're used to will work on it), pretty useless without a permanent internet connection.

11.5 inche screen is big enough for most people

"640k ought be enough for everyone". ;)

Seriously, anything with an 11" display is not a laptop. But if that is plenty big for you, fair enough. What exactly do you need it for, maybe a Chromebook is exactly what you want.

    Certainly no iTunes.

Youtube and email (as long as it is web based) should be OK.

Mind you, the 100 GB cloud storage is only free for the first year, after that it's a fiver a month or so.

The chrome is positioned at very low income people who have only the essentials to worry about, like watching porn while on the pot or filling out a job application. Its also handy as a pocket machine for a student. But by no means is it a replacement for a PC laptop.
