Any good? Seems a bit pricey and the photos of the dinners look a bit on the small side. Is it good for a date?

Never been there, but from a look at the website, soup is a fiver and burger is 13. Liberty grill (not expensive place) soups range from 4.50 to 5.50 and burgers from 11.50 to 14.50. Steak, indigo sirloin 10z is listed at 22 euro, liberty grill sirloin 9oz is 23.50.

So wouldn't call it way overboard on pricing for cork city.

The Liberty Grill is also the most over rated restaurant in Cork.

Absolutely ideal for a date during the summer as the outdoor area is very nice (might be a bit cold for that now...)

Still though, it's very relaxed and you can just keep drinking wine for as long as ye want after you're done eating.

Haven't been there in a while now but the food is perfectly acceptable.

Uh.. So? It's on the same street and has comparable looking menu. Hence the price comparison.

Wouldn't agree with that at all. Crazy talk. Nobody said it's fine dining, but it's relatively inexpensive, food is decent and the atmosphere is nice and lively.
