Hi, I am not sure if I am even writing in the correct place but really hope the good people of boards can help me where all else has failed.

I am involved in an organisation and am trying to get a one day disability awareness training day for staff. Some one to come in and give a one day (pref the participants will get a cert of some kind but that is the least of my concerns at the moment).

I basically am here to find out if ANYONE can provide me on information, contacts or someone who could provide this training. We are based in Dublin but could travel in the greater Dublin area or even provide the space in our building.

To recap that is a basic disability awareness training day for staff up to 12 people. I have tried all the major orgs and running up against a brick wall.

Please contact me if you can help and I would be most grateful. :)

The NDA have an online learning tool available for free

    See http://elearning.nda.ie

If you’re still interested in classroom training, here’s some possible providers. FAS will pay for a chunk of the training costs in many cases.

Do try the eLearning thing before you make a final decision, it could be an alternative to the classroom thing, or it could be a prerequisite to the classroom thing, which would you allow you to take the classroom thing to a higher level, as you could assume a basic level of knowledge.

Hi :) Just want to say I have organised the training. Turns out the organisation had a link but I did get in contact with Trainability and may I just say for anyone who is in a similar position I found the lady great and although I haven't used the service I think it should definitely be a first port of call for anyone if needed.
Just want to say a big thank you to everyone for all of their help!! :)

Hi there. It would be really useful if you could post something very brief after the training to say how you got on with the training and were they any good. Thanks.
