    Hi,
I want to switch from airtricity to electric ireland, gas and electricity. When I switch do I need to pay any deposit if I choose Direct Debit?
    Thanks, Aurimas

    Hi Versus,

Thanks for your message. If you switch to Electric Ireland for gas and electricity you can get up to 10% off the standard rate of both fuels, which equates to a saving of approx. €185 over a year (see here for details).

And if you switch online, which is a very straightforward process, you can get an extra €30 off your bill.

No, we don't require a deposit for any residential customer - gas or electric - if they opt to pay by direct debit.

If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask.

    Thanks,
    David
