Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey lads.

Doesnt anyone have a recommendation for an aftermarket seat?
Previously i had a 15 minute drive to and from work but started a new job and going from Naas to Sandyford daily.

My hoop is killing me from the seat on the bike so im sussing out a new one and looking for some opinions.

It must be some seriously uncomfortable seat if it's hurting after that distance.

You need your arse broken in. Easy into it, and your arse will eventually be able to take it. You may be red raw now, but soon you're arse will be able to take it with ease and you'll be asking for more and bigger.

    What about corbin seats?

    I don't mind if its a 10 minute drive. A sore arse is a sore arse :-p

The awful standard seat needs to go.

I'm just past Naas. I leave at 6:30 am and its a 50 min drive. But like I said, the seat is like a brick.

You can get an Airhawk to strap onto any bike. Just remember to take it off if on fun roads.

If you want a gel seat you need to check UK forums for them. I checked around Dublin last year and no one was doing gel seat conversions. There are guides on the net if you want to try yourself, I was too chicken to mess with my one.

When I was getting my seat reupholstered I sanded off the hard epidermis of the foam. You'd be surprised how much more comfortable it makes it, gives you alot more cousin :pac: all depends on how deep the foam is though, on the bandit its quite deep (also it reduces seat high by a cm or two cos you sink lower so keep that in mind)

Check out this crowd in France.
Got a seat off them myself.
Original Pillion was too hard for herself.
    Very comfy now.
