Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Suit for wedding in hot climate

    Hi folks,

Not sure how many blokes are on the forum, presume plenty! I am heading to a wedding shortly, and it's going to be 30 degrees plus where we'll be. Obviously I won't be bringing the dark Irish wedding suit, but I have never purchased a linen suit or anything like that.

I am looking for something sharp but very reasonably priced. Any recommendations on where to look?

    Cheers :)

I've been at a couple of weddings recently that were in around 30c or just over (Marbella and New York in the summer). Both were black tie which was pretty hot in the Irish polyester/wool formal suit.
Linen would be a lot more comfortable but you would rarely get a chance to wear it again. Also linen creases very easily. If it was me I'd go for a nice light wool suit made with a Reda 110 cloth for instance. I have a couple and they are very breathable and cool in the heat. You would also get to use it a lot more in the future as it's more versatile than linen, you can wear it all year around

Brilliant, thanks for that. Do you recommend anywhere in Dublin that sells them? I have spotted on place online that I like and have bought in before.

    They look reasonably priced too.
