The Nets truly are an unholy mess.

Whoever decided the Christmas day schedule should lose their jobs.

It was decided at the start of the season and in fairness, all those match-ups looked attractive at the time.

A better idea might be to wait until December 1st to decide the Christmas Day schedule, but I'm not sure if that works logistically?

They will fire the people responsible, then hire new people that will make the exact same decision next season.

Welcome to broadcast TV. Sponsors like certainty, and by extension so do the networks. CBS is the blandest most conservative network out there and they dominate the other networks like Jordan's Bulls.

The ABC exec's logic is this: even if the bulls and lakers have a worse year than expected, Chicago and LA aren't going to get any smaller. But if a team like Indiana has a surprisingly terrible season, there's nothing to fall back on.

I'd guess that the ratings for Nets and Knicks games will be abysmal.

Brooklyn is so completely ****ed for years. It's unreal, Brooklyn doesn't own the rights to their own first-round selection until 2019.

Russ with a triple double midway through the 3Q.

Westbrook could have had a fairly quick triple double if he made a couple more shots. 2/10 shooting 10 r 10a 6p

He has it now on the 26 min mark though

JR Smith 7-20 with 3 min to go in the 3rd. This could get uglier if the game gets closer giving him more playing time but if OKC continue to run away with it we'll probably get to see his little brother Chris coming on.

I'd prefer the latter to be honest.

Kobe was asked who the toughest defender he had faced since he joined the NBA was. Any guesses as to his answer? It's not obvious.

    T-Mac?

I'm probably thinking of T-Mac saying that about Kobe but I'll stick with it

Think he said Melo was toughest to guard but on him (like above) think he said T Mac was toughest defender?

Miami -9 to polish things off before the late shift?

Unless the Lakers go all Golden State on this game, this should be a comfortable 10-15 point win for Miami.

    Oh my LeBron.

Could have got as as low as Miami -1.5 during that 1Q.

Lakers did well for a quarter and a half there, but Miami just cranked up the pressure.. and then some to end the half.

Miami up five at the break. The Lakers have shot 20 3-pointers and are outscoring Miami 10-2 on offensive rebounds.

If the Heat can start grabbing a few offensive boards they should win this reasonably comfortably. Hopefully by more than 9 :pac:

The Lakers are just like playing someone online on NBA 2K14. Three point shot every single time. :pac:

Even when Gasol is wide open 3 feet from the basket.

I'd take my chances with the 3 instead tbh
