Just catching my breath after a long day…….

Exceptional trade for the Warriors, gives them real bench depth where they lacked it. My pick for the Western Conf. is looking better….assuming Glass Ankles can stay fit of course.

As a Celtics fan, you'd have to wonder what Stephens think of this b!tch slap by Ainge to put him in his place? The guy has worked miracles thus far given the roster and now the rug has been pulled from under him - I hope he was briefed and involved in this but you never know. I know there's no guarantee of getting the No. 1 pick, but in this year's loaded draft you could pick up some real quality with a handful of picks, it just comes down to getting lucky on those selections, No. 1 or not. Still, they gave up two players for what will realistically be 2 second round picks.

At this rate the average age of the Celtics team with all these draft picks they're accumulating will be about 21……….in 3 years!

    What's the cat's name Ade?

Before anyone says anything, Ade's cat's name is more on topic than some of the stuff that's been posted here lately! :D

    :pac:

    Chilli and Yoshi.

What an opening from Washington. Heat can't get their shots to drop.

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

Quick start by the Wizards here. Killing the Heat early doors.

No answer from The Heat. A 24 - 4 run, A 19 point lead for Washington.

Okay, it's safe to say the Heat are nothing without Joel Anthony.

Wow 43 - 18 after one. Impressive stuff.

It would be a huge injustice if he didn't get in. He's been arguably the best big man in the league this season, basically a 24 points and 12 rebounds guy all year. That being said he wouldn't be the first player that should have made the team not to, Steph Curry didn't get in last year.

You're right that he wouldn't be the first not to get in when they deserve to. However, it would be unprecedented for a big guy putting up those numbers not to get in. As in, it's never actually happened.

The recent trade kind of works for everyone. Or at least, there's no clear loser. GS get extra depth and scoring punch off the bench, Boston gains picks (and gets worse) for the rebuild, and Miami save money by offloading a scrub and getting a 3rd string PG (at least on their roster) who can play very good defense.

Haha what a great first play from Oden

    Washington lead by 34. Amazing

Oden has certainly made a difference. That play from Wade to James was awesome, such perfection in the pass!

Heat are not out of this yet.

Down by 9 after 3 quarters… after being what 34 down half way through the second. Be a massive comeback if they complete it.

    Welp, hold on Wiz.

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

Not a bad game from Mr. Wall (25 points and 9 assists) and co.

Wiz beat the Heat by 17 points. Heat lose 3 on the bounce now.

Celtics caving in the fourth here against the Raptors.

Celtics are three games out of the playoffs, Rondo comes back Friday....they can make a push....if they want.

Some people think the Heat are all about the big 3, but they really missed Mario Chalmers tonight.
Norris Cole is a good young prospect, but he doesn't look comfortable as a starter yet.

Chalmers' ball handling is underrated. Heat had 10 turnovers mid-way through the 2nd quarter tonight.
They improved in the second half as Lebron took on most of the responsibility, but also you'd have to say the Wizards defensive intensity dropped when the had such a large cushion.

Nice to see Oden play a few minutes.

Elsewhere, I see the Kings are taking their good form on the road against the TWolves. Rudy Gay playing well again.

Also, Bulls Magic going to triple OT? (Magic playing without their two best players: Afflalo and Vucevic)
Can't believe the Bulls are this bad. They made a real go of things last year when Rose got hurt.
Where's that spirit gone? I know Robinson is missed, but still..

Bulls in triple OT in Orlando atm.

    Bulls win.

    Kings are wobbling.

    C'mon. Hang on.

Boogie for the allStar game. :D

    Chilli and Yoshi.

    Cool names!

Ok, so I'm nominating Yoshi as the "Schrödinger's cat*" of the thread; whilst Chilli can serve as the Yang to the thread's occasional tension and restore peace in the greater Indianapolis/Washinton area.

*I'm sensing that "Schrödinger's cat" is being googled a lot right now! ;)

    Kings hang on.

TimberWolves lose yet another close game. (although it only got close in the last couple of minutes).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,337 ✭✭✭moneyman

Yeah, Kings win, no thanks to Thomas. Made stupid play after stupid play in crunch time. We need a starting PG so IT can go back to being a 6th man, where he belongs.

Saw this during the Wizards/Heat game. Gave me a good laugh :pac:

LMA did some damage tonight for the Blazers, torched the Cavs in the final couple of minutes. Was a very tight game before that which the road team led for the most part.

    ___

Nate is on fire right now!

Warriors lose B2B games now. Warriors imploded down the stretch as much as Nuggets played well.

Clippers blew a huge lead, then made a ridiculous comeback and won 129-127.

Yeah cheers to Bradley Beal and Co. For giving The Pacers a 3.5 game lead at the top of the east.

Tough game coming up tonight against The Knicks.

Bogut embarrassed by JJ Hickson on the glass.

24 rebounds for a 6' 9" guy up against a 7 footer is some going.
