Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I believe there is (or at least was) a place in Wexford called Pro Fitness Supplies that might have some in stock on sight. My gym does a bulk order of adidas weightlifting shoes every so often and it looks like online ordering for the most part.

I'm gonna try out the ol' Chuck Taylors for the time being.

I prefer minimal style trainers (vibrams without the toe separators) to chuck taylors . Both have the hard flat sole you need but the former also be used deadlifting if you don't like a raised sole. I think the ankle support Chucks give is over rated.
