Does anyone know if it is safe to fit a new plug on a Dimplex Oil-filled radiator, please.

    Hi Fra Angelico,

For safety reasons, we would always recommend that you consult with an electrician before undertaking such work. Electric heaters are powerful household appliances (avg. 2kWh) so it is vital that any repair/replacement of parts is done properly and safely.

You might also pose your question in the boards' Electrical forum, for further guidance. The queries we deal with here in the Electric Ireland forum are mainly related to customers' gas or electricity bills.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,
    David
