Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

read somewhere that if you email it to yourself it retains the slow mo bit and then you can share where you like

Well what you have to understand is the edited version with "slo mo" on the phone is just that, the edited version. Sharing the clip on the iPhone would share the edited version.

If you transfer the clip to your mac, it will transfer the original version unedited at 120fps.

Playing this back at 120fps will look 'normal', but put it in to iMovie/Final Cut etc, and slow the clip down, it will play smoothly and slow.
If it was a normal recording say at 30fps, and you slowed it down 25%/4 times, it would be jerky.
A clip recorded at 120fps slowed down 25%/4times would still played smooth as it would have data for 30fps, compared to a clip at 30fps slowed down to 7fps.

Using 'image capture' on OS X.

It's not really possible as the slowmo points are a playback option rather than part of the video.

You can upload direct to YouTube in highest quality setting which retains the playback as per iPhone. Probably best option for sharing quickly

When you email or upload they are transcoded/conformed as you do it so move to whatever the current edited playback setting is. I.e you can't adjust an emailed or YouTube one afterward.

Emailed ones are compressed by the iPhone, YouTube are converted during the upload.

YouTube unlisted or private videos are quite a good backup option.
