Eircom SportsHub being withdrawn

    Does anyone know why Eircom Sports Hub is being withdrawn - I just signed up for another 12 months of Phone and Broadband :< - Also It says Man United vs. Stoke today but it is showing Rugby - I cant find a number on the site either.

    Think it only showed content from Setanta Ireland, which now that Setanta and BT have teamed up has hardly anything good on it.

    Could also be related to Eircom going into the tv business and charging for Setanta on IPTV

    you can terminate the contract with immediate effect - breach of an implied condition - sale by description under the Sale of Goods and supply of Services Act 1980

    actually you are wrong... the contract is for phone and broadband services.

    the setanta ireland is free to eircom customers but it never stated setanta sports was part of the deal.

    read the contract you signed.. its all there.
