Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lip Primers?

Just looking for recommendations for a decent (and preferably not too costly) lip primer?
I'm going to be wearing red lipstick/lipstain as part of my halloween costume but whenever I wear a red lipstick it wears away (for lack of a better word) in the center middle part of my lips and ends up just staying around the outside and looks awful and I don't want to have to keep topping it up every 5 minutes.

    Thanks! :)

edit: oh darn, meant to put this in Beauty. Can a mod move it? Sorry!

Have you tried using foundation under your lipstick? I do this and I find it works well. Much cheaper than a lip primer.

Mac have a Prep and Prime lip primer and I think Urban Decay have one too. I can't say how good or bad they are as I have never used them, sorry!:)

Lipcote :) It's about €4 in Boots and will lock in your lipstick for hours.

Do you use lip liner as a base first?

I have a few days to go, so I'll pick up lipcote tomorrow and try each one (lipcote, lipliner base, foundation base) after work every evening as a trial run, Thanks so much for the suggestions!
