Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi all,
    firstly i hope i am posting in the correct forum!!
    i am considering to purchase a morso squirrel 1430 for the sitting room. I have a normal 3 bed semi. approx 25 yrs old.
    i wish to pull out the existing fireplace and back boiler. The back boiler is already disconnected. I wish to have the stove sat back as much as possible.Finished inside with skamolex and register plate and the surround where the mantle is finished with plaster board. My existing fireplace is normal 16'' opening.

    My question is when i take out the fireplace is there enough room to sit this morso into existing gap or will i have to do some structural work. Was told must be 6'' either side and back of stove. Also MUST i have the chimney lined or will the stove work as good with existing lining ??

    Finally if anybody knows somebody who could do this job at REASONABLE price i would be very grateful. Stove companys i have approached are quoting beyond my means. I can get the stove, skamolex and other materials required for the job. Also i can have fireplace and back boiler removed. Just need somebody in the know with regards stove fit as i have explained. I live kildare/dublin border region. Thanks for reading
