PS3 with an external WIFI adapter

Hi all,

I am wondering if it's possible to connect a PS3 to a wireless network using a USB WIFI adapter, my PS3 connection drops every now and then, it's a bit annoying so I am hoping to fix this issue by using a USB WIFI adapter, any advice?

I would look for another method like Powerline or Homeplug adapters.

The PS3 will not know what that USB Wifi device is.

I ordered these for another PC in the house. Nice and small, works a treat. For £20 you can't complain. Connect one up beside the router and the other beside the PS3, press the link buttons to sync and you are online.
