Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What do City fans make of Fernandinho?

Fernandino is not worth anywhere near what city spent on him, doesn't add a whole lot to the team.

Problem is we always have to pay over the odds no matter who we buy. I do think he is a very solid player who we do need in the team though.

Had a few terrific games at the start and has settled in well. We do need him, our best option for defensive cm.

Kolarov on for Javi. We should really stretch the game wide now, should give them a good go for the last 10.

Demichelis has had a very good debut.

Hart, ha! Brilliant, immensely overrated by the the English media and teammates.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

Bad mistake there by Joe. Never should have come for it, it was too far out. If Nastasic had left it for him, what would he have done exactly?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,078 ✭✭✭onemorechance

Mourinho is nuts! Hart in tears!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,364 ✭✭✭✭Kylo Ren

Shouldn't have come out, it was outside the box. Nastasic had it covered, should've stayed and let him knock it to him.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,709 ✭✭✭shrewdness

    Classic Joe Hart.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

David Platt said in the summer that he and Mancini planned to replace him with Begovic before they got the boot. Hart could well cost City a title push this season.

'Kin hell Joe. That would've been a tidy draw if it wasn't for that blunder.

That has to be on the menu again. He's cost City far too many goals over the past season or two.

Joe Hart doing what he is always likely to do. He should realise at this stage that when he comes out, he ****s up. Stay on your damned line. Sure didn't he do the same thing last week?

Attention seeking as usual. He should be sanctioned for that.

    For what exactly?

    Yeow!!! :D

If the housemate wasn't properly woken up earlier, he got fúcking lifted out of it there! Haha!!! Beauty!!!

And sanction Mourinho?! Bollocks. For what?! Rejoicing what was the winning, last minute goal against one of the biggest title challengers? For sharing his joy with the fans who love him so much? Yeah, let's do that. Let's. No need for people to get so passionate at football games. I'm sure the poor players have a tough time concentrating with all that cheering, chanting and singing. Let's chain the managers to their seats and gag every fan before they go into the stadium. Be much more civilised then...

    Ill take that. Thanks Hart/Nastasic.

I watched the game and saw the incident. I'd like to know what rule he broke that you feel he should be sanctioned for?

In Europe, yes. League record: 6 apps 0 goals. Lets face it, he's still terrible.

The match winner today in the biggest game of the season so far says otherwise.

The top three clubs in England changed manager this season, they did this due to different reasons and circumstances, two got undoubtedly talented managers who'd overachieved at smaller clubs, one club got the best manager and when you have the best manager, even if you perhaps don't have the best squad on paper or the most experienced squad, you still have a chance. This evening, at Stamford Bridge, with Mourinho I'm amongst the public, his public, this was proper Chelsea, Chelsea as it should be, Chelsea rejuvenated.

Torres, Oscar, Lampard, Ramires, the whole back four, everyone playing together the Mourinho way. The stall has certainly been put out, the marker set and Chelsea are very real title contenders.

Don't have my rule book with me so i can't tell you the exact rule, but the rule that forbids players from doing the same would be a good start.
