Buying Disney Infinity figures in the USA

Hi, My sister is coming home from the states for christmas and she would like to bring some Disney Infinity figures home as christmas presents for my children. I've said that we can source them here but she says that they are substantially cheaper in the states than here. The question I have is will the figures purchased…

Hi,

My sister is coming home from the states for christmas and she would like to bring some Disney Infinity figures home as christmas presents for my children. I've said that we can source them here but she says that they are substantially cheaper in the states than here.

The question I have is will the figures purchased in the USA be compatible with our Disney Infinity starter pack purchased here in Ireland. I've searched on the web but can't find a definite answer.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
