Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yep, apples and oranges there - the Amazon machine runs Windows RT.

Bought it for 359 Sterling on Amazon on the 1st of October.

Wife is using it now for college for the last few weeks, upgraded to to Windows 8.1 RT there a few days ago.

Fantastic machine, comes with the full version of Office, 8.1 Includes Outlook also.

Battery lasts between 10 and 14 hours (and it actually does, she never brings the charger and uses it the whole day)

Apps selection isn't the best, but it comes with a proper browser anyway so you can just use the proper site.

Only think i've found lacking is that there is no version of Cisco Anyconnect for it, however it supports nearly all other Third Party VPNS (Checkpoint etc)

Perfect for a Student, portable, light, great battery life.

If you want it for games or for specific applications (such as Matlab/Autocad or something) forget about it.

But miles better than a Chromebook and the price/portability and quality is better than the cheaper Ultrabooks.
