    Lads,

    Just wanted to post this notice to address a few things that have come to mind. There seems to be a lack of posting or interest in this. It;s the same few people posting weekly, and some people have yet to post an entry since the start.

    Now i've only posted a couple of entries since that is all i've gotten. Sad, but true. However if people are "holding back" on their entries to post them up in one big lump then they not only risk losing the comp as they could post it too late, but to me it kills the spirit of the comp.

    The prize will not be some big expensive gift (especially as i'm paying for it). It will be a subtle yet appropriate gift to mark their win. IOW nothing worth being so secretive to prevent you from posting your entries in an attempt to stop others from knowing what you've gotten till the last minute.


    The entire idea of this was a bit of craic. Nothing more. While the first post of this thread seems to contain a lot off rules there are only a couple. The idea was to not regulate the comp to such an extent that the fun gets sucked out of it.

    To prevent any abuse of the comp, and to ensure everyone has a fair chance i'm going to run it like the soccer comp of the same nature. If no entries have been posted then the person will be removed from the comp. So if a poster has not posted in at least a month or remains at 0 score then i'll assume they have lost interest and will remove their name. They can be added back in by contacting me and informing me they intend to stay playing the comp.


    So in ending, please, if you have entries you have been holding onto post them now, and continue to post daily or weekly when you have new entries.
