Exercise Buddy in Finglas Area?

Hi All

I was hoping to find an exercise buddy in the Finglas (Meakstown/Charlestown) area, I am FM looking to lose weight and tone up.

I'm interested in all sorts of exercise/gyms/walking/swimming etc and feel having a partner in crime will help with motivation. I also find it a bit lonely going for walks alone, with the dark evenings!

I've also noticed Crossfit are opening in Finglas next week, So that's another option. I don't think i'd have the balls to go alone!

This would be a very good decision and you will meet loads of new people probably in the same boat as its just opening. Don’t miss the first week.

Yes it sounds very intense, A Friend of a Friend got ripped doing crossfit, I was delighted to find the leaflet in my door this morning! Have you been?

I know there's an opening day on Sat and the leaflet said they're having WODs all day, I don't know if they mean demonstrations or what? , I doubt new members would be expected to get stuck in on an open day!

It's right across the road from me so I'll have no excuse!

Have trained in similar places most are good and all depend on the coach. If you go and take part the WOD will be scaled to your ability. Go for it!

Heyya, I live in the Donnycarney area and sort of have the same intentions I just signed up for Swan leisure in rathmines. Would love to find someone who goes swimming with me or do any exercise really ..it's so hard to keep on track. I kind of want to get in shape before the whole christmas feast starts preventing the damage …..
