Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, have just moved into a house with one of these appliances.
The washing part is straightforward but I'm hoping someone can help me with the drying part please.

Is this machine a condenser-dryer?...do I have to empty the collected water after each drying cycle?...if so, where is the water collected as I can't seem to see it. I opened a place I thought was the right place but it turned out it was the filter (I think) and I ended up spilling water all over the floor!

In order to dry, do I choose the small 'sun' button setting on the row of 4 horizontal buttons and then turn the dial to either intensive or gentle dry?

And last question...does the machine sense the weight of the clothing to be dried and automatically dry it?

    Many thanks.

Modern Washer Dryers are condensers. They pump the condensate down the drain as the machine is plumbed in for washing anyway.

Not sure about the symbols though.
Google the model number + instruction manual and you might get something though. Many are available online.

I would suspect it's a sensor dryer. Most modern higher end dryers sense the moisture content of the laundry. They know when it is dry so you usually don't have to set timers or guess how long it takes.

They normally have various dryness levels you can choose from.

    Gentle is probably lower temperature.
Intensive would be better for things like towels.

Stick to gentle for most clothes.
