Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Very efficient performance from the Blues ,

Have to say Chelsea fans get a bit of stick but they were brilliant tonight ,

Looked like Men against Boys , not a bad B team

    Schwarzer was very impressive tonight.

Surely Ozil's shirt he has. Gas, never seen that from a manager before.

I dont think Willian played well personally, thought Mikel and Essien broke up the play well and restricted Arsenal to half chances, Mata was the pick of the attacking players for us, Eto'o, Willian and KDB wont be starting away to Newcastle on tonights performances I'd say.

That B team would beat a lot of the EPL starting XI's to be fair, as long as we can rotate them when needed we'll have a deep run in this and hopefully the FA cup too.

Don't know about that; an individual error and a pretty spectacular shot from Mata were the difference. Wasn't a whole lot in it other than that. Well, considering one team cost circa £142m and the other around £50m.

Well done to Chelsea, that second team will take some stopping, cup should be yeers unless someone plays a first team against yee.

Mata is pure class, on and off the pitch.

Juan Mata is an absolute sweetheart. Bless his little Spanish head.

<3 Mata. Always have. Bit pissed we fannyed around getting him the season Fabregas left and Chelsea nipped in.

Btw Wilkins is so annoying in is post match analysis there. "Embarrassing" - you'd swear we'd been flogged 5 nil.

really , thought willian was right at it, going forward and working back , KDB looked off the pace

In the post-match interview with Mata and Azpi, Mata was more pleased for Cesar scoring his first goal for the club than his own MotM award. Like just about everyone says, a class act.

Ramsey, Rosicky, Wilshere, Cazorla. They ran through Arsenal like a vindaloo after 20 pints. It's as if there's a tactical problem as Arsenal.

*Ahem what I said last week about Arsenal having possession but no shots as I got chased away from the Arsenal thread for being "negative" and the exact same thing happened tonight with Wilshere, Ramsey, Cazorla and Rosicky ahead of a more than capable back 4 *ahem.

I don't think they ran through the midfield at all tonight. The first goal was a **** up and the second a good finish from a break down the flank. I thought we controlled the middle more but lacked width and movement upfront.

Chesney's fault for the fault goal, not Jenkinson, nothing to defend the first goal. Lot of possession thought.

Excellent midfield selection tonight by Wenger, especially to put them out defensively without telling them who was on which side, looking at you Ryo. ;)

Chez wasn't in the squad :) Jenks header back was soft he gets caught under the ball a lot, gets himself in awkward positions. He was a mess tonight

Ok we can both agree it was ****e but did you actually watch it? There were loads of shots...from the edge of the bloody box. Bendnter was so bad the midfielders stopped giving it to him and began to shoot from everywhere. Arsenal had 12 shots to Chelsea's 14.

As for your first comment they hardly ran through Arsenal at all, in fact they barely created a decent chance, a great goal from Mata and a horrendous error from Jenkinson did it for us.

12 shots and 1 on target from Giroud.

That is a terrible return although Essien and Eto'o had shots that went out for throw in's :pac:

well at 2-0 rameries could have gone down when he went through the arsenal defense but stayed on his feet and nearly scored

Yeah I did watch it, mate actually said "It's as if they don't want to give it to Bendtner."

Same old **** tbh, teams don't have to "dominate" to win, just take their chances which when they're good enough they will do. Chelsea had the handbrake on all match and were comfortable.
