Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

Saw this tablet advertised by Lacuna.ie

    http://lacuna.ie/epages/950002183.sf/en_IE/?ObjectPath=/Shops/950002183/Products/Explorer

Includes a free case and keyboard (which looks like it's connected via mini-usb rather than bluetooth).

Price seems ok for the spec, it's running JellyBean.

Anyone had any experience of either this brand or Lacuna thay could share?

    Thanks

    JP

Bought a sumvision tablet about a year ago, 7" but can't recall the model name or spec, I sent it back 2 days after receiving it. It seemed sluggish to me and the display was pretty poor - awful viewing angle etc.

In saying that I've also purchased the sumvision cyclone media player which is one of the best pieces of equipment I've ever purchased.

I think there are enough cheap tablets out there at present to swerve this, unless others have had better experiences than I had with this more up to date version.

Given the specifications, it running Jellybean is actually a bad thing. You get what you pay for with cheap tablets like this. It's not a rip off, but it will be frustratingly slow to use.

You'd be better off paying a little more (~€95 delivered to a parcelmotel) for this model, which is a significant upgrade, specs wise at least. The reviews tell a tale of good performing tablet with iffy wifi connectivity.

Check over on hotukdeals. There are quite a few cheap tablets listed at the moment.

Sumvision are rebadged Pipo tablets. Big difference in Quality between their 7 and 10 inch tablets.

10 inch Pipo M9 pro is one of the best budget tablets available with Quad core, retina tablet 32gb at 240 bucks.
