Window opening device for someone who can't stand/reach ?

I was wondering if there's any device available to help someone reach top windows to open them. There seems to be a window pull available that lets you open a straight forward catch and push the window out but is there anything for more modern windows that have a button you have to push on them while you turn the handle to open them ?I presume the button is a security catch or lock, but it's a standard fitting not something special.

Does anyone here have one or have any ideas ?

Thank you Rainyday. I have looked at those window pulls but they don't seem to handle the security lock button on the window. I don't think she could afford the infrared sensors. They look like a good idea though.

If anyone has any other suggestions or experience let me know please. :)

Worth talking to one of the community and voluntary organisations such as Age Action or one of the condition-specific ones, such as MS Ireland, Parkinson's, IMNDA, Alzheimer Society - these tend to be really helpful and usually have a database of such stuff.
