    Hi there,

I'm not able to reproduce this on our iPad here. I can tap the textbox to resume typing and the emoticons also work. So when you move your finger and tap anywhere outside the text box, you cannot click the box to resume typing in it? That's quite odd indeed. I am able to resume typing in the box by tapping inside it. Are you using Safari? Do you know what version of iOS you are on? Can you describe exactly how you get in this situation?

If you use the iPad a lot for Boards, have you tried switching to the standard editor? It won't give you all the formatting tools but you may no longer experience the problem.

To switch to the standard editor, open your user control panel, then go to "Edit Options" and then change Message Editor Interface to "basic editor".

Can you let me know if changing the editor helps?

    Thanks.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
