knock airport clipboard man

    Flying out to Tenerife last month through Knock airport. Just past the ryanair gate before you go on to the tarmac was clipboard man. "Where are you from"? He asks me! "Ireland" I replied, "ok" says he and I continued on my way. I never questioned him as I was anxious to keep moving Does anyone know who he is, SW, Garda, customs? No I.d just high viz vest. I'm puzzled.

    This is not the correct forum for this thread so I am going to close it now as I can't think of where to put it, but I would hazard a guess he was just doing a survey of nationalities that use the airport.
