Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fan located behind stove

    Hi all,

Below you'll find a image of the stove I have fitted in my sitting room - It's a stanley Oisin.

I'm thinking about placing a metal blade fan at the back of the stove as there is about 2 foot of spare space. I'm hoping it will disperse the heat more and help to spread into the kitchen which is located off the sitting room. Am I wasting my time? Is it a bit of a gimmick?

    Any help or advice appreciated....

Ecofan are a great idea for moving hot air away from the stove, I don't know if it will have room to spin in there though.

i had a oisin for years and i stood it out on the hearth not in like yours. and it got too hot every night. we usually opened the doors.they give out ridiculous heat for their size. i had it back exit flue. id recommend moving it out
