Fan oven not working??

    When I turn on the main fan oven on my duel fuel cooker, the light comes on but there is no heat. Would it be the thermostat or something else. It tripped the trip switch also. The other oven is working fine, although it's not a fan over. Any advice please.....

    Could be the fan. Some fan ovens (maybe all) have thermostatic cut outs that prevent the element from heating if the fan is faulty.
    Only way is to start checking components starting with the oven element. Not a DIY job unless you are competent in using meters etc.

    Some other ovens have a little hand sign which returns the oven to manual mode after a power outage and which allows use of oven again.

    Thanks guys, had a guy out to look at it. It was the element, looked like the element had a blow out which triggered the trip switch. There was a one inch split on the element. Thank goodness for trip switches!!
