Hey guys I was only checking last night when the boards draft is due as I had such a blast this year (plus a lightblub went when I saw the wrestler timelines thread).

The Draft and Mania season is miles away yet and I was just wondering would there be any interest in a tournament to have a bit of fun. Probably been a few of them over the years here but I've only done them on other boards.

Easily explained. Very slow day in work so I've complied a list of 128 Tag Teams. 128 being a nice round number (not too many-not too little) and works with the bracketing for a tournament just perfect. I picked Tag Teams cause I'm a total tag team mark and I find it's a nice interesting one to choose from the get go.

It works with a bracketed RANDOM draw. Single elimination, we'll say the first team to achieve five votes goes through. Should be fairly straight forward. I know the consensus we that LOD are the greatest tag team of all time but we'll aim to vote for your favorites If it's LOD vs Team Hell No. If you prefer Team Hell No for whatever reason vote for them. Makes for great fun and surprises.

Just putting my feelers out and would like feedback. It there much interest?
I'll post a list of the teams I've come up with. It would be great to see who you see that should/shouldn't be in. I know it's very American based but that has much to do with my very casual knowledge of the Japanese scene.

Yep cracking on is the best way with some of these things as you might not get too many opinions until people see it up and running at which point they will want to get involved (ive run some stuff like this here before).

If ive got this straight now we just put up who we vote for out of the first bracketed match above:

Although Legacy is obviously more my era The Midnight Express have to win this one imo and having Cornette in their corner gives them a real edge as far as who would be your favourite (which is what we are voting on not just the best tag team) so despite being a Cody fan, im voting against him here.

3 minute warning for me, it's favourites were going for and I honestly don't remember the original Los Conquistadors all that much. Despite them being the worst team of 2002 as the award says I always loved Bischoff giving people their 3 minute warnings before Umaga and the Super Hero in Training appeared

3Minute Warning for me too, they looked amazingly intimidating and could fairly go for big boys. Better than the golden version of the putty jobbers from Power Rangers anyway.

    3-2 Eliminators.

It's first to four. Unless you guys think first to three is better for round one.
