Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Apple withdraws all smart covers for iPad 4th, 3rd and 2nd Gens (except grey)

    Kinda miffed by this, to be honest - my iPad 4 isn't yet even one year old and there was absolutely no advance notice from Apple that this would happen:

    The smart cover is still available in dark grey. Dispatched within 24 hours. And I'm sure there are resellers still selling them.

    The new smart cover at least for the iPad is actually better then the old one. For starters it doesn't have the metal parts which do damage the iPad over time. Second, you can now reverse the cover, so you can protect the back with the leather part instead of the felt (so keeping it clean when on the desk). The kickstand configuration is also a lot more stable.

    Its the lack of Smart case colour choice I'm complaining about...

    Sorry I didn't read the thread title properly.

    You should still be able to pick up a coloured cover from Amazon, PC World or Argos.
