Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi guys,

Long story short my PL50s which have served me faithfully for the last two years have been damaged beyond repair and I'm in the market for something new (seeing as I figure in 2 years something better will have come along for similar money to what I parted with for the PL 50s originally). Checked out Head-Fi's multi-IEM review but there's so much there it's hard to pin down a specific next buy some I'm hoping the wise and gracious people here in H&P can give me a hand.

My music tastes are mostly centred around rock and metal, bit of jazz and other easy listening for when work has been particularly taxing and I need to unwind along with some pop and country albums I can never quite delete off my memory card. I found the PL 50s gave a great sound as well as good isolation so I could actually focus on what I was listening to.

Ideally I'd like to get away around €40-€60.

    Thanks.

I have the gr06 which is in that list and in your price range and find it pretty good. It's Pretty bassy (not overly so) but yet good sound stage. Very good build quality. Would recommend them. Isolation decent.

Cheers glasso, was looking at Logitech UE 600s the last while (or biting the bullet and just buying another set of PL50s) but I'll have a look at the GR06s as well.
