Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Carrick is a doubt so expect Fellaini to fill in.There are no other major injury worries for United but Fulham could be missing Hangelaand.

    Hangelaand.

He's the only man I know who actually manages to turn smaller by jumping. :pac:

Ill go for nervy 1-3 win. Few late goals to seal 3 points for the Champs.

I'd love a convincing win before the Arsenal game.

Going by our form so far, Fulham will probably go ahead and DDG will make some outstanding saves, and then we'll come back to scrape a win/draw

Good news for Fulham, he has been very poor in terms of concentration levels the past couple of seasons.

I feel sorry for Hernandez already

He'll turn grey watching those 2 wingers get to within 25 yards of the byline & then turn to pass it backwards. He'll get more service from either of them if he plays full back.:(

Kags or Fellaini for jones and it would be grand.

Don't understand why Moyes won't play Fellaini. He's not going to improve on the bench .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,226 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Jones and Cleverley, there are no words....

  • Registered Users Posts: 792 ✭✭✭KombuchaMshroom

Swap jones and valencia for kagawa and fellaini and id be delighted with that team.
Guess we have a big match on tuesday night though so have to rest a few. Not a bad team

Safe to say Moyes still doesnt kno his best team yet, either that or else he is thinking about midweek already...Jones and Cleverley centre mid? Not gonna be easy on the eye. I'd take a very scrappy win.

He might improve by training with the squad though. It's not like he's 19, he's already as good as he's ever going to be, so the problem might just be to do with settling in.

I'm surprised Janzuaj is starting again.

Rooney will be dropping very deep I'd say.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,843 ✭✭✭✭Nalz

    Jesus Jones CM

I'm a little less confident now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,559 ✭✭✭✭yabadabado

Why the **** didnt they get Fellaini to have the operation 4 weeks ago,he has only played 75 minutes since in October.****ing madness.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,080 ✭✭✭✭Maximus Alexander

I have a feeling that the, probably justified, irate post-match discussion will revolve around "Why the **** would you play a defender in the center of midfield, when you have a CM on the bench?"

Strange enough team today although happy to see Jones out of the defence and Rafa back at right back.

Just the rugby on Setanta Ireland on UPC.

Just to let people know. I have two TV's, one connected to a UPC box. That has rugby on Setanta IR.

The other one is just plugged into co-ax and I have something else.

So try unplugging box and just using reg TV channels.

Id go with average, not crap.

Jones will improve, Cleverley has his good days...

But yes its by far the weak point in the team today

Jones is a crap midfielder IMO and Cleverley is a limited player.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

That goal was all about Vidic. Didn't hoof it long and took his time on the ball. Key pass to RVP who threads it through to Rooney. That is what should be happening more from the back. Get the ball to the creative guys in dangerous positions rather than humping it long.
