    Something weird happened tonight, im getting serious lag making the game unplayable.

    But the kid was playing it on PS3 and no such issues. 200MB UPC with cracking ping so its not that, 90 FPS with a reasonably decent PC.

    So i wondered

    Server issues.I found a few of the uk ones very laggy.

    Didn't try tonight but last night most of the servers I tried were unplayable.. it was affecting everyone on the server.

    It was the very same when battlefield 3 first hit.
    Like many titles these days, it won't be working properly for months.

    This is a widespread misconception that's worth addressing. That 200m is only on your last mile, and the ping is irrelevant. Your traffic isn't going to stay on UPC, nor on your last mile.     In the context of lag there is no ping issues as we used to have with Eircom, we couldnt both play together with our "24mb" Eircom.

    Hence the its not the connection part
