Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Great strike by Ramsey. We need to keep it tight now and not concede a sloppy goal.

Back down to earth here with a bang. Arsenal not even playing well.

Was about to post how wasteful Ramsey was, and he goes and does that. Arteta and Carzola impressive

C'mon. It was complete dive. Only the most biased, blind Liverpool fan would think that was a "stonewall" penalty.

Decent game. Arsenal currently teaching Liverpool a footballing lesson. Ramsey to score a second I reckon and put this game out of sight.

    Boo ya!

Of course it was a dive. Arsenal are creating nothing. Coutinio on now. Different game

If by different you mean "exactly the same" then yes.

Liverpool still 3rd tonight. It's not as if we were ever actually expecting to challenge for the title anyhow.

Moses? this is going to get ugly

Coutinio was the wrong substitution to make should have been Joe Allen

    Rodgers is very naive.

Getting destroyed in the middle first half and he puts on an AM.

Lucas has gone from a massive concern to unpickable in 1 hour of football.

Gerrard has gone to the stage where I say where is he.
The back 4/5 are like amateurs just winging it on the nite.

Rodgers would want to have a long hard look in the mirror after leaving both Lucas and Henderson on the pitch this long. Shocking players.
Robbie Savage described Mr Henderson as a ' fantastic' footballer on MOTD recently!

A post, made in the heat of the moment, sorry about that :(

But I stick to the first part

Gerrard&Lucas like before are poison together.

    Rodgers fails to admit it.

Gerrard and Lucas have no legs. Gerrard is walking.....literally walking around the pitch. It's ridiculous. What does Rodgers think will happen? Arsenal deserve to win this.

Alas this is one of the constants of the season but he won't be dropped, his legs went in a matter of a few months.

Sturridge hasn't had a kick, brutal performance.

I seen that and that quote pretty much sums up all the pundits on MOTD

This was always going to be the game to pit things in perspective. Just don't have the squad to compete with arsenal, but let's not lose the run of ourselves here, big thing is not to let the heads drop and pick up and go again.

A goal, however unlikely would rattle arsenal and test them.

Coutinhio not up to pace, tough game to come back into

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

If you have a player in the Gerrard/Yaya/Lucas/Fellaini mold....the type of player with poor stamina and that needs to take several breaks during the game, you need to cover for them with two energetic midfielders. If you don't, you get run over. This is a perfect example of what happens if you don't.

Any midfield with Gerrard in it needs both Allen and Henderson in it to cover him.

Giroud missed two great chances. Ramsey had a good one on the edge of the box about ten minutes before he scored where he tried to walk it into the net.

Nacho on lovely stuff, was one of the positives against Chelski during the week. He will do well.

    Call it off.

Statistics don't lie. We're 10-5 vs 6-1 in terms of shots and shots on target and 60:40 possession.

What have Liverpool created? Very little. That scoreline is fully deserved imo.

Normally i'd agree with ya as a lot of the regular posters are clueless :D but Rodgers really should have changed the midfield.
