Vodafone efiber fixed ip?

Does anyone know if a static ip is an option with vf efiber and what's the cost? Also how long is the lease time on the ip on the standard setup or does it only change on a reboot?

Static IP's are usually for business accounts only so that might cost a good bit extra. The IP releases and renews evert 24 hours, after every disconnection or powercycle. If you configure your router with Dynamic DNS, you have map a hostname to your home router that automatically updates. This can be simply configured in the routers settings. You could have a hostname like cargo.dyndns.org - check out Dyndns.com.

static ips cost about €50 with eircom so i would assume its pretty much the same with vodafone
