Looking for a recommendation for professional cleaners in the D15 area.
Basically looking for a deep clean of the living spaces of an apartment.

Also, would anyone have a ball park figure of what it would cost?

    Thanks a million

Depends on the number of bedrooms in the apartment- but typically- its about 150 per apartment (for living spaces) and then 30 per bedroom. Aka- 180ish for a 1 bed apartment, 210'ish for a 2 bed, 240 for a 3, 270 for a 4 etc etc etc

There are loads of professional cleaning companies out there who are happy to take this type of work- along with a few smaller, specialised companies- Cleantolet.ie comes to mind as one of the smaller ones that has been praised in this forum previously.

Ask around- and also check out what is included and what is not included in the prices quoted (e.g. for whatever reason most cleaning companies charge extra to clean the insides of windows- which in my mind is bizarre- of course you're going to want them clean......?)

€200 to clean an apartment sounds a bit high, no? Plenty of cleaning companies online offering services for under €20 an hour; would it take 10 hours to clean an apartment (assuming a "normal" clean is required)?

A deep clean is very different to a normal clean though. I had a deep clean of my apartment and I couldn't believe it when it was done. Everything perfect. The previously discoloured grouting in the bathroom looked like I had only just laid the tiles...the inside of the oven looked like it was brand new....and the carpets were shampood to a colour I hadn't seen for years! €200 sounds about right....I paid slightly over that in Dublin. And recently paid £300 in London. But it depends what the OP wants. A normal clean or a deep clean

Best thing is to avoid the many companies that sprouted up during the boom doing stuff like this, go to your local SuperValu or other supermarket and look through the postcard adverts at the door and pick a local cleaner who will do just as good a job without all the overheads.

They won't do a deep clean though........

Fair enough. I wasnt aware that there was a difference to be honest (other than time spent), but if you get a more thorough service then €200 doesnt seem too bad.
