    Howdy,

Looking to order a system from you guys tomorrow and have a couple of questions.

    1) Is it possible to order the Yamaha YHT 298 from yea to Dublin? I don't mind using Parcel Motel if there is only stock in mainland UK.

    2) If not, what would you recommend between the Pioneer HTP-072 (£199) and Yamaha YHT 199 (£249) - is the Yamaha worth £50 more? The Pioneer appears to have a passive sub, while the Yamaha doesn't have a USB port.

    3) Lastly, how much is postage to Dublin on all of the above?

    Thanks for your help.

    Pioneer 072 http://www.richersounds.com/product/speaker-packages/pioneer/htp072/pion-htp072
    Hi Tusky,

Thanks for getting in touch, and apologies about the delay in getting back to you.

The 298 is a in-store only purchase so would mean a trip one of the English stores to collect unfortunately :(

The 199 is still available and in stock here in Belfast.  This is a great pack and smokes the Pioneer hands down.  The active sub over the passive really makes a difference.

We could have the 199 delivered to anywhere in Ireland for jsut £12.99.

Let me know what you think.

    Chris

Hi Chris. Is there anything you can do on price in that case as the 298 is a better system, but selling for cheaper in other stores.

Also the 199 has no USB while both the 298 and Pioneer do.

    Thanks.

Hi there, thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately the 298 system is an old model and has been discontinued. I would have been able to beat any price on the 298 if it was available to us but unfortunately I can't discount the 199 system to pricebeat against a system which is no longer produced.

We can pricebeat any competitors on the Yamaha 199 system so if you can get it delivered for less than our price then we can beat it.

The only thing that I would say in relation to the USB connection on the Yamaha Vs the Pioneer is that the Pioneer uses a passive subwoofer so if the USB connection is vital, then it would have to be the Pioneer system but the Yamaha systems sounds a lot better than the Pioneer due to the difference in the subwoofer and better quality speakers.

The best that we could do on the Yamaha 199 would be to offer free delivery on it.

I hope this helps but let us know if we can help any further.

    Many thanks

    Dave

Thanks for the reply Dave. Well in that case I'd be happy to take you up on the free shipping offer. Can we proceed by phone or what's the best way to do it?

    HI Tusky,

We wouldn't stock those particular stands.

We do have these Peerless stands available tho.  Check the link below for more info:

    Hi there RS

I was interested in possibly ordering this system. is the offer for free shipping still going?
I live in the republic near Limerick.
Also to order, how would i pay for it? credit card, laser card?

    Many thanks..

    P.S
speaker cable, whats the best price per metre for goodish quality, as im guessing the cable that comes with the system probably isn't that hot.
    Thanks

    Hi again,

Thanks for getting back to us :)

The good news is the Yamaha pack has dropped down to £199.95.  The bad news is we couldn't offer free delivery at that price.  To have it delivered you're only looking at £12.99 so it aint too bad.

We can accept Paypal, bank transfer or Visa/Mastercard over the phone.

For speaker cable we have the Gale Symphony 200 which is priced at £1.49 per meter.  This would be a massive improvement on the cable Yamaha provide with the pack.

Let me know what you think.

    Chris
