Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looks like Rand Paul is going to delay the appointment in Janet Yellen and hope to get an Auditing of the Fed passed.

I think this would be great.

I find it crazy that the NSA think its ok to snoop but when it comes to the FED we have to be told that it's better kept secret.

In my opinion the federal reserve system is the main cause of the current economic problem, more specifically Alan Greenspan and Ben Bernanke unnatural low interest rates which created bubbles.

Do you think this bill could pass and do you even care?

I doubt it will pass because there is way too much cronyism in DC.

I'd vote not only to audit it, but to get rid of it altogether. Who'd audit it? the IRS?

Give the money printing power back to the Treasury.

Better still, totally ditch the 5th plank of The Communist Manifesto altogether and have some competitive currencies.

The lack of replies in this thread has proved a point to me.

Now I understand why certain posters in this forum post they way they do.

It's not really mate......and you work in a bank.

It is very important though. Their actions are more important than what the government does in many cases but anyway I get it.

Lack of knowledge on the federal reserve system explains many of the other responses.

I'd advise anyone to look into how it works.

I hope Rand Paul is wearing a bulletproof jacket.

Kennedy tried to take on the fed and look what happened to him.

I've worked with the Fed for several years, with specific movements on a particular platform, I wouldn't even come close to getting the in-depth picture that is required

A lay-person telling a team of Formula one engineers how to design their car would be a good analogy

So I take it you don't want an audit of the fed?
