Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Air locked water boiler

04-11-2013 1:41pm#1My water tank in my hot press seems to be air locked since the start of the water shortage in Dublin. We took a look into the attic last night and the tank up there is completely full.
When the hot taps are opened in the bathroom you can hear pulsing / gushing water coming slowly into the boiler tank and the tank in the attic fills to compensate, so theres no problem with pressure.
Has anyone any idea on how to release the air lock from the boiler ?? Three cold showers in a row so far and dont think I can last the rest of the week
