Got flu vaccine for first time this year. Has anybody experienced severe itching all over after getting it?

I've had it the past three years and have no side effects whatsoever. However everyone is different, if you are concerned go back to your gp or pharmacist and ask for their opinion.

I got mine last Thursday (being a type 1 diabetic it seemed wise investment at 20 euro), no symptoms - they made me wait in the shop (Boots) for 15 mins just in case of an immediate shock reaction.

Not had any side effects ever with the flu jab. Did you get asked if you were allergic to eggs before you got it? The vaccine is matured inside eggs you see.

Never had it. Several people I know who did get it, got a bad cold afterwards.

That's one side effect - lasts a day or two.

No side effects here, have been getting it for a good few years.

Thanks for the replies. Myself and the War dept. got the jab for the first time. I have no problems but she is complaining of being itchy all the time. So I asked the question just in case there is a possibility it was the flu jab as it appears to be an allergy of some kind.

If the itchiness is persisting, I'd be inclined to get that checked out.
