On the mission screen, mission 10 is showing that it contains a Transportation Specialist. Each mission shows what skills/blueprints you can find in it.

Ya, that was the one. Interrogated everyone and anyone who mentioned a specialist.. I'd fulton that guy out.

She'd actually be about 25 right, wasn't she 16 in peace walker?
Her cover age is mid teens but there's a tape you can get in Peace Walker and Ground Zeroes where she says that she isn't a teenager. Which makes me feel less weird about Extra Ops 67 in Peace Walker.

I havent played the game yet but watched a guy review it on youtube say its the
    scariest
    MGS ever.

What did he mean by that without any spoilers if you can?

Well I did mission 12 earlier (hellbound) and the end of that was pretty scary, not in an eerie kinda way but yeah, hard to say without spoilers.

Some weird things happening with the story too, unsettling.

So I had a bit of a dumbass moment earlier.

Protip: You need more than two bricks of C4 to destroy a tank.

Well, my unlevelled C4 anyway. Did a fantastic job (I must say) of sneaking C4 charges onto those first two tanks that you encounter, then sneaked back out again to a safe distance to detonate.

Didn't quite have the intended result :p

    Snake: .......crap.

Completed a tonne of side ops (37-38 complete) and did my first (and only) main mission in Africa.

I definitely prefer the game without the reflex mode. It just makes you work a lot harder as you don't have that safety net incase a stray guard does catch you.

I'm also really liking the cassettes and the amount of control the player has now. In mission 13 there is a part early on
where you see child soldier being trained. It's briefly mentioned but you can keep watching this and obviously move around the base. By the end I had seen them train and go to bed while being monitored by two guards.

In the previous games that would have been a 10 minute cutscene but here it was all up to you and to be honest I felt the impact a lot more.

That's not meant to be a negative on cutscenes as I generally enjoy the MGS ones, but I like the mix of player control and cutscenes in this game.

I finished off the night by checking out a lot of mother base after Eddie's discovery and found a good few locked doors but that was it. Wonder when they'll be opened.

Anyone know how to resolve staff morale? I've seen a few messages saying a fight broke out.

Now that's me done with MGSV until I'm back on Monday :(

Doing the honey bee mission as we speak. Going well, managed to pretty much empty out the revine base (pro tip, don't try and attack that one to get the prisoner early. It'll end badly). In the main camp now and have the honey bee, extracted the prisoner and haven't been spotted. I kinda know what's coming next from the intro credits so I'm gonna stop for this evening. Don't think my reflexes are fast enough to cope with the inevitable face off thats coming.

Used reflex mode in zeroes.turned it off here

I htought side-ops created side ops lol. I did the first one and that opened another 2 and here I am 10 side-ops later and only doing episode 4 or 5 in Afghanistan.

So not that far into this myself but so far it really doesn't feel like a metal gear game, it's a fun game but for an open world game the open world is certainly not up there or even close to the best of them. It's very lifeless and repetitive even this early on.

Im sure given the positive response the game has had things will change later one and the story missions will improve. The motherbase management side isn't as much work as it was in Peacewalker from my recollection, can you send team out on missions later?

Yes, just unlocked that option myself tonight.

Yeah, and as the guards start adapting you can start cutting off their supply of helmets etc by sending out teams to destroy them.

Is the whole game based in afgan etc. I have no clue what is happening in the game. Where are all the bad guys beside the guards

Found out something really cool.Head to the medical strut in Motherboard and look for a blue door.

Just did that there. Holy f*cking sh*t. God I love MGS.
I'm very suspicious of Paz,don't trust her one bit!

Anyone finding motherbase to be a disappointment? Nothing to do. The target practice is totally not what I wanted. Is a proper training facility w/ target gallery so much to ask? Had it in PW :( Whole load of nothing. Except the zoo. It's pretty nice. Damn this game looks amazing.

Miller is so damn scary. His staff picture gets to me. Imagine trying to eat breakfast with him in the mess hall. *shiver*

Ya I do run around the base a bit and do that. I thought there might be something else you can do.

If you have a staff member in one of your units with the Troublemaker attribute it causes problems. Putting 2 staff members with the Troublemaker attribute in the same unit will keep them busy with each other and won't lower morale among the rest of the staff.

For anyone who bought from The Game Collection, did your copy arrive in the Northern Ireland depot late in the evening? I'm really hoping mine gets there this evening for tomorrow morning delivery. Sorry, kind of getting anxious! :D

Yeah the dev time really irritated me. Are you playing on Xbox One by chance, we haven't got the update to GZ still yet, and until then we won't have the option to upload our save.

Servers are working on and off here. Guess I was just lucky and caught them at a good time to get me GZ file uploaded. PS4.
