    Hi all,

    My first post in this section and hopefully I'm in the right area and you can direct me.

    I try my hand at art and have produced a few pics. I'm looking to see if someone can produce prints of these pics for me? The first thought is the likes of a commercial outfit, the likes of snap printing but I imagine, this might be an expensive route to take. The pics I'm doing are two different sizes - a rectangular version which is approx 1ft wide and 2.5ft high. The other is square approx 2 x 2ft.

    Could anyone recommend a printer in the swords or Dublin area who could scan these pics for me and reproduce good quality prints? Any ideas would be most welcome.

    You could try one of the "print on demand" companies:

    Zazzle.com
    Cafepress.com

    They will print your digital upload on almost anything from a framed, matted print to a mug or notebook covers.

    Hi 5uspect. If you could pass me on the details, that would be great. Thanks a mill. I called into snap printing today and while they could do prints for me, they don't have a scanner big enough to get my pics scanned in the first instance. I rang another crowd, same story however they advised me to contact the likes of hacketts in town who could scan, using their specialist machines. Seems the best option is to use someone who does big print jobs for the likes of architects.

    I'm an artist myself and what I do is take very res Pictures using proper lighting and a good dslr camera. Then you would upload your image with whichever on line print on demand company you go with.
