Cardinal on insanity was a bastard

Wouldn't be so bad if the window for damage was a few seconds longer but that was the first time I genuinely felt this difficulty was cheap. In the end I
ran round the room and entered the area behind him rooted core a and Jaal to the spot there and cheesed him from cover
still took some time but you don't get the waves of minions, as it bugs the AI for some reason maybe your range from their spawn most likely.

Special mention goes to Remnant VI for assisting , as a reward i'm going to max her skill tree.

How did people choose here ?
I felt blowing it up was the right move

The first really difficult decision in the game really.

Is the Remnant VI the orb like object that floats above you? Started up today and noticed one of them floating above me even though I don't have one equipped.

No thats part of one of the profiles , the remnant VI is from
    PeeBee's special project quest

But I haven't changed my profile and it started appearing today out of nowhere.
Maybe it's one of my squad (I used Drax and Cora?)

This one is still drunk on Eos :D is this a glitch or is she in everyone's game?

She's on mine. I thought my game was glitching at first before I realised she was hammered lol.

The funniest part about this is the drunk animations are the best thing I've seen in the game so far.

Ok,ive just decided that im leaving ME:A until they fix some of the technical stuff, ive just completed Eos so am not too far in,i can wait and get through some other backlog games while they sort it out..

I am enjoying it but it will be nicer to play when they get a couple of patches out (hopefully)

    The
    Architect battle
    was excellent. The fecker
    flew off into space afterwards
; I didn't see that coming. :D I have Eos and Voeld at 100% viability now, but still loads of quests to do on both. It's a pretty big game.

Chase after him in the Tempest?? That never even occurred to me. Is that actually a thing?

No, like in the Nomad. When he gets up to fly drive after him and he'll stop again or else he'll just fly off if you don't.

I highly recommend using the apex HQ app on phone\tablet. Constantly v sending my strike teams on missions and collecting the rewards on the tempest. Have got a ton of materials, credits and the best weapons I have have all come from apex missions.

It messes with the achievements/trophies in my experience of it :(

Should have hit the requirements for a couple ages ago but the stats in game not reflecting that, been using the app for ages and only realised this morning I should have had certain achievements by now.

Oh, well I killed him and interfaced with him. But then
he got back up and flew into space
    so...

Weird, I got a trophy for apex missions after doing about 2 of them in-game, figured the stats for my app missions counted towards them.

Can anyone recommend a good primer to go with Charge detonator? I love charge and have been using flamethrower to prime them but I don't like it. Just can't decide on what to use instead, pull, concussive shot, etc? Just wondering if anyone has found a nice move to go along with charge.

It was/is, and happens for all the architects you can run into.

tip for anyone playing multiplayer - if ye are in a game where the host is cheating - you are automatically cheating too.

Joined a gold earlier where the shields were invincible and every weapon i had, had infinite ammo, grenades, no cooldowns etc.. wasn't lag, pure and simple cheat used by the host. If bioware are working this the same way they did ME3MP they will ban accounts who were in the same game as the host multiple times for cheating.

Good to know. I haven't got into the multiplayer yet but I might at a later stage.

A solid week of playing and I'm still loving it - a fantastic experience. **** its haters and the facial animation crowd - I'd prefer if they never play it. I love this game and if you've been anyway influenced by the hate it had online, ignore that **** and dive in. GOTY for me so far.

I'm only about half way and even if the story turns out to be total scutter I'll walk away having thoroughly enjoyed the gameplay/combat.

    I'm really struggling with
trying to kill the architects on Eos and Voeld
. I've given it a few goes but I'm not making any progress, it's those
damn fields that deplete my health/barrier that kills me. Going for cover doesn't help, neither does standing near a health pack. Only able to knock off 1 leg.
    So frustrating

what I done was, just kept dashing away from the fields and if I got hit just run back and hide till my shield goes back up. Also tried to get as close as I can when it exposes a weak point and to also command my team mates to attack the weak points too, took forever but I got there eventually.

Anyone know how to increase my shields? I'm level 26 but my shields are like 300+ while all my team mates are 600/700.

Yeah dashing away from the energy field is the only way to survive but don't forget you also need to stay close to the heaters on the Voeld!

Have you tried crafting armor and using mods to boost the stats you want?

Everytime I thinking I'm getting near the halfway point a ton of new stuff opens up :) Hell, I spent last the few nights just running some of the team loyalty missions lol.

This game is Witcher 3 levels of big :D

Finished Eos, for now, and I find Suvi is the first I go to for a chat, she is the most interesting character so far. Just did a quick Google and turns out Scott doesn't have a chance :(

What difficulty are you on and level ? I was playing on Insanity on Eos and wasn't viable to do at point I've since gone back with cora kitted out and myself with a few new tricks and a Black Widow V and had a much easier time but on lower difficulty with what I have now would melt it.

Thanks for the tips. I did try running away but I kept dying. I was level 29. I think I need to craft and kit out better. Cheers. I'll go back for them eventually (assuming there's no point of no return on those side missions).
