Myself and a couple of other coaches are doing some junior sessions in Mount Pleasant Squash Club in Ranalagh on Sunday mornings.

We take children from the age of 3 and start at the very beginning - hand/eye coordination, running, jumping, leading to some basic racket work and progress from there. It's a relaxed class with the emphasis on having fun and burning some energy rather than anything too formal.

For children a bit older, we start to introduce some racket skills, basic drills and movement.

We have two sessions - the 10.30am class is for children aged between 3 and around 8 and at 11.30am we have classes for the older children.

We're all qualified squash coaches but the classes provide a good basis for all junior sports.

Drop me a PM if you need any more information.
