Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So not only does our £28million new midfielder not start, but he can't even get on ahead of Tom Cleverly. Money well spent that.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Van Persie celebrating. I know he didn't last year but still...I suppose you can't blame him in a way.

    Cleverly makes me nervous.

Cleverley with some very lose passing.

Very worried about Ozil now with Jones gone back in defence.

Vermaelan back in the team and taking the free kicks?
Shouldn't someone else be fighting to take that?
Desire is missing a Bit here.

Arsenal don't appear doing any good footballing today.

So you would be happy and not posting one liners about players being missing to hide your disappointment if it were nil nil now?
Because our team is very average, and you cannot say that's because of one player.:pac:

What??? I'm talking about them defensively obviously ozil has been disappointing but I'm sure Roisky would have made way for Flamini

Was that 2 vs 7 with Arsenal in attack just now?

He scored for his team so what if he celebrates

Jones had been keeping a good eye on him further out and wasn't letting him get in to it. He's gone deeper now and Ozil is coming into the game. Not a coincidence!

Cos unlike The Gollywog he can play one touch passes with likes of Kagawa and hold possession.

But they football doesn't seem to be going in many of the directions I believe Arsenal want it to go. This will result in no goals for them.

A couple of examples of why I don't like Rooney as a number 10. Far too deep at times and his first touch can desert him at crucial times.

    Arsenal getting into it now

The ref really seems to have it out for Giroud today. He's giving away a lot of frees without any really bad tackles.

Did Ramsey actually keep that in?
Arsenal finding their feet abit, come on

The worse ref in the league by a country mile.

His bridges have been well and truly burnt with Arsenal fans, he should do as he pleases.

Amazing how poor Arsenal are once they get within 30 yards of United's goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,347 ✭✭✭✭Grayditch

Come on Arsenal. Score a goal, thus equaling the tally.

He wasn't in arsenal all his career and left. He was sold from one club to another

    Ozil too smart for Giroud.

To be fair Rooney's touch today has been dreadful.

Exactly. It was kind of insulting when he didn't celebrate, it was a lame attempt to pretend he actually gave a fúck for the Arsenal fans. I think now he realises we no longer give a fúck about him.

I don't care if RVP celebrates. He's a **** whether he does or not, I don't want him pandering to us as though he wasn't.

He seems to get on well with the manager and the players, werent himself and wenger hugging last year. Shouldnt he have some respect for them.

Hmm.. that seemed like a bad call from the assistant..

    Ozil has been very poor.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,726 ✭✭✭Rubber_Soul

Would have preferred to leave Jones where he was and put Smalling in the middle. Cleverly leaves too much space in front of the back 4.

I still don't get this whole big up thing of not celebrating against your old club and how much of a deal some people make it out to be, He is being paid by United to score for United. He can be best pals with Wenger and the players after the game but on the pitch for the 90 minutes he can celebrate his goal how he sees fit to be honest IMO.

    Ah Rooney

Would love Kagawa in the centre and Nani or Janujaz on
